Gold Winning Chardonnays with Fish & Chips

Join us at our winery for a relaxed yet refined vertical tasting of our Gold Medal–winning Wrights Reserve Chardonnay vintages: 2024, 2022, 2020 and 2018.

You will be welcomed with a glass of Pet Nat on arrival before settling in for a guided tasting presented by Geoff Wright, who this year celebrates 25 years of winemaking. Geoff will share insights into vintage expression, winemaking style and food pairing, offering a deeper look at how each season has shaped these wines.

Held inside our authentic working winery and surrounded by our certified organic vineyard near Young Nick’s Head, this experience allows guests to taste the wines right where they are grown and made. The setting connects you directly to the iconic Gisborne landscape and the region’s distinctive terroir, showcasing its ability to produce world-class Chardonnay across multiple seasons.

The tasting is complemented by a serving of Gisborne’s finest fish & chips, bringing together outstanding local wine and food in a true expression of place.
