Guests are welcomed onboard with a glass of bubbles as the train departs, setting the tone for a relaxed and scenic ride along the coast. The journey takes you to Muriwai, where guests will be treated to live music, delicious food, and a curated wine tasting featuring a selection of wines from seven Gisborne wineries, showcasing the quality and diversity of the region.

Each participating winery will present its wines, with guests receiving two 40ml tasting pours per winery, allowing you to explore a wide range of styles across the region. A selection of thoughtfully prepared canapés and more substantial dishes will be served throughout the afternoon, designed to complement the wines and enhance the tasting experience.

Additional glasses and tasting tokens will be available to purchase for those who discover a favourite and would like to enjoy a little more.

Following the same successful format as previous years, the event retains its relaxed, scenic charm while elevating the experience into a more structured and premium tasting.
